Tuberculosis is one of the major causes of increasing mortality and morbidity. The main diagnostic path for the patient with tuberculosis includes some basic information i.e. a medical history and data from some clinical scanning such as immunology, microbiology, radiology, molecular biology, and histological investigations. Lately, essential advances have been introduced in these sectors to improve the period of accuracy and diagnosis of tuberculosis. New approaches are there for the evaluation of inactive diagnosed persons, with a greater risk of producing active tuberculosis, these methods provide the probabilities to a rapid diagnosis of positive cases of tuberculosis in patients. Additionally, encouraging applications that will further maximize the identification of tuberculosis are under evolution.
