Abstract: Constipation is a prevalent digestive disorder that adversely impacts quality of life. This study presents a natural, fiber-rich fruit candy formulated with kiwi, pear, fig, prune, and papaya, supplemented with psyllium husk. The candy aims to provide a palatable, natural alternative to traditional laxatives. Comprehensive physicochemical, nutritional and antioxidant evaluations were performed, including DPPH and ABTS assays. Sensory analysis and preclinical efficacy tests suggest the formulation is both effective and consumer-friendly. This functional food product demonstrates significant promise in managing constipation through dietary intervention.
